I honestly wasn’t familiar with the DASH diet protocol. Although this book, and DASH are intended to help treat hypertension (high blood pressure), this book and the recipes will be good for anyone who wants to be healthier. While there are some things I would add, such as the importance of whole-health and gut-health, in maintaining optimal blood pressure, and managing ANY health-related issues… the information in this book will only help you to be healthier. And, the recipes actually are AWESOME! Dive in, be creative and experiment with your cooking!

By Pat Kemke Very easy to read and lots of good info on how to reduce your blood pressure naturally by diet. The book has some very nice recipes and brings out many ways you can remove excess salt from your diet. Easy lifestyle changes will make a big difference in your health. I am looking forward to trying some of the recipes, especially the lunch and dinner choices they look good - cheesy enchiladas and the stuffed tomatoes had me thinking about going into the kitchen for a snack.
