Gray As a stay at home dad with 3 school age kids, I can admit that my disarray can be quite overwhelming. Over the years I’ve done a decent job with keeping things structured but there was a noticeable decline as more tasks were piled on. I purchased this guide in the hopes that it could assist me in getting my life back in order. Now that I’ve consumed the information I can wholly attest that it has made a huge impact in my daily life and routine. After following these guidelines for just the past few days I’m already much more structured, energetic, and able to get all of my tasks accomplished. That says a lot really, given that I never wanted to admit that I needed assistance. From maximizing productivity and a step-by-step routine all the way to a high energy diet and the five principles for success, this book possesses all the elements necessary in order to bring anyone’s life back into order. Also, I love the Blueberry Chia Blast energy smoothie; it’s made a noticeable impact on my energy levels without all the chemicals that I averse to. All-in-all, by utilizing this manual, I am getting more efficient as the days progress, while rarely feeling that lethargic demand for procrastination.In summary, if anyone is looking for a superb book on productivity and goal achievement, you can’t do any better than this one. I’ve no doubt it will be a reference in my personal library for a long time to come.

A must read book that delivers exactly what it promises By michael naylor I bought Maximize your day as it was recommended by a friend who like me works from home most of the time and he said it helped him a lot. upon reading it I can certainly see why he recommended it. This book is packed with tips and proven methods to increase productivity and make the most of your time. I am a world leader in procrastination however since implementing some of the methods int his book like the morning routine I have found that I actually have more free time and instead of finding thinks to distract me from work my work is done and I can enjoy my time more.Overall this is an excellent book that provides a step by step method to improving your routine and your time management overall. Most importantly it works. I also really liked the fact that the book also explains about diet and which foods can give you energy. As someone who drinks a lot of energy drinks this section was very beneficial to me and I have pretty much stopped drinking them altogether and replaced them with healthier​ alternatives from this book.

Mr. Sherman breaks down all aspects of life on a daily basis--from work, to diet, to when to answer your emails. After reading this book I immediately made my daughter, who just graduated from college, read it because it will teach her about how to control her life now that she is no longer under my wing!I would recommend this book to people in all walks of life from those entering the work force to those whose life is overstressed due to work. This book can CHANGE and IMPROVE your life!

This book was both good for my physical health and mental health. I feel like I learned a lot about proper weight loss just in the short amount of time it took me to read it. American's in general are not known for being healthy, but I have noticed that when they do keep up with their health, the results (Similar to Talia's experience) are just amazing! Because this was a genuine weight-loss experience, I felt like I could trust Talia a lot more. Her personal story was uplifting and motivating. I want to visit Colorado now!

One of these things which makes a lot of since to me is how we move forward in life almost always depending on who you associate yourself with. Like minded people go really good together. I can really relate to the writer of this book when she speaks about the adventures she has had throughout her life and the way the her life evolved from it. Its also very interesting how she talks about the type of different foods we eat do to where we are living or visiting at the time. Colorado is know for a lot of home grown food. I also can relate to this from my experience as a kid growing up with my grandparents who used to grown most of their foods right out in the back yard. I remember that being the best food in the world and till this day I can honestly say I never taste food like that again. I loved this book it really hit home and I will be keeping this book on hand for the near future. I highly recommend this book as a great read.

Kudos to the author for accomplishing this. I never knew that Colorado was one of the healthiest states in the US. I would not have ever thought that. I enjoyed how the author shares her story broken down in dairy days. I really enjoyed how she compared her view with Colorado’s view. It enhanced the story by comparing the two. I liked the information on the vision board, I have used a vision board in other activities before and I had never thought to use it in my weight loss journey.

The main characters are well-rounded and interesting, with quirks and back stories that make sense. They meet under difficult circumstances, and what happens between them is an emotional roller-coaster ride with highs, lows, and a lot of honest feeling. There's just enough detail about minor characters, setting, and background, and the writing is graceful without drawing attention away from the story. The book is told from the point of view of both characters, who each narrate separate chapters, and they each have their own, distinct voice.It's not a happy-ever-after story. Life is not like that, and neither is this book; instead, the ending feels hard-earned and true. I'm looking forward to Ferrer's next book, Between Here and Gone, which will be out in January.

If you are looking for one-dimensional characterizations and a happily ever after ending By Maria If you are looking for one-dimensional characterizations and a happily ever after ending, this is not the book for you. If you are looking for human characters that have flaws, but don't let them define their entire world, then I highly recommend you pick up this book. Without spoiling the plot, bad things sometimes happen to good people, and those good people have to make choices when there is no right answer. Surviving in spite of all the forces working to wear a person down; remembering that love comes in many different forms; and realizing that some things were never meant to last forever... but at the end of the day, they are still alive and life goes on.

It's a story mostly about being human, pulling through the hardest of times, and coming full circle. It's the human plight.It's also a story written from the supporter's point of view. How does one cope with a major medical event? Well this story will tell the tale.Very well done!

Cragle When I first looked at this book I was drawn in by the title and the image of the climber navigating a "monster mountain". So cool, but here's the deal. When I opened it up my first thought was "I do CrossFit and hike some, but I'm not a climber". Don't be fooled by the picture as Mercedes clearly states this book is for the outdoor athlete. If you go outside and do any sort of activity, whether it's climbing, sking, hiking, CrossFit, team sports, golf or chase your kids, relatives or animals around, THEN YOU"RE AN OUTDOOR ATHLETE!Now that you know you're an athlete, every single one of you reading this, then you'll realize that the tips, plans and exercises in this rich book are for every one of us! Okay athlete, how can this book help you?Mercedes gives a good intro to how this program came into being and how she uses it to coach others and herself on building up strength she needs, but with just bodyweight movements and mobiilty. She walks us through the background, basic principles and all the information that sets a great foundation for the movements that you'll be doing.The exercises and doable and she shows a variety of "scaled versions", so literally anyone can do some form of the movement and as you get stronger and/or more flexible you can go to the next stage. As a CrossFit competitive athlete I've implemented numerous exercises Mercedes shows and I'm already feeling much better, after having some nagging flexibility issues.I won't go through every section, but suffice it to say, this is a complete program from a practitioner and experienced coach who trains elite athletes, climbers, as well as the average person. Generations of strength training for climbing and sport have taught us to push and pull in one direction in the gym and apply the gains in the mountains or on rock where movement isn't linear at all. The science is sound and we've all seen gains with this training methodology. But, the training application has generally lacked a sense of movement coordination. We've been missing this transitional coordination until now.In Simple Strength, Mercedes begins linking her years of classic strength training practicum with the (re)discovery of functional, natural and animal based movement. This connects the dots between linear movement strength training and the coordinated movement application required in climbing and other sport. It's a valuable effort in a field that will transform sports training as we know it. Moreover, the exercises can be done as an adjunct to your existing workout, in a hotel room, pre-game on the court or at crag base - essentially anywhere.As a client of Mercedes for many years I can vouch for her and her techniques. Simple Strength techniques have saved my back, helped rehabilitate my shoulder and been an essential aid in improving as a climber. Pay attention while reading this book and be patient with yourself. Use it everywhere and at any time.

By Kate This book gives a basic overview of how human body movement works that I think is beneficial for people that are experienced with strength training or just getting started. While climbing referenced, this information is valuable for anyone looking to develop/enhance their fitness program. It touches on how to create good training habits and design your own training programs so you never get bored and continue to progress. The author covers classic movements like squats and pushups and adds in a ton of fun and challenging variations. There are a lot of pictures (I'm the type of person that never uses a recipe in cooking unless I have a color photo to go with it) that are a necessary reference for anyone learning these exercises for the first time. I am actually a frequent traveler and really stand behind the author's perspective that a quality workout can be done anywhere without tools. Bodyweight training has been essential for me to maintain my health and stamina while I don't have access to my normal gym.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Loved it! By ShaSeli I have enjoyed Ms. Burkes writing and this book did not disappoint. Kassidy and Justice had many obstacles to overcome before they could achieve their happily ever after. But the way Ms. Burke depicted their courtship, their struggles and their triumphs was fantastic. My only issue with the book, which is why I only rated it four stars, was the swift and sudden transitions. Time of day, places, actions, etc. sometimes switched from one sentence to another in a paragraph. Without smooth transitions sometimes the book seemed choppy. I can't wait for the next installment.

Her ability to transport a reader into the world within the pages of her book is nothing short of fantasmagorical. Justice stole my heart as he fell head over heels for Kassidy and fought to win her trust and gain her heart in return.My heart hurt for Kassidy and all she had endured. I loved how Justice was ready to dispense justice to Alex when he showed back up and was prepared to bully Kassidy to get what he wanted.I recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a book that is believable and heartwarming.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. An Easier and Healthier Way to Eat. By Book Fan This is Vol. 2 of the Gluten Free Cookbook for Better Health. I will be checking out Vol. 1 for sure. This is a bit more than a recipe book. To start off the author, Helen Marie, provides some background on her personal life which relates to a gluten-intolerance.Next up before the recipes are 16 Ways to Boost Your Well Being. I found this part to be very helpful in that the tips are very simple and easy to try and they cover the spectrum of health concerns from fighting cancer to reducing cholesterol to improving vision. I found this tips to be interesting and I am already trying a few of them.On to the recipes, of which there are 50 that include appetizers, breads, breakfast, lunch, dinner, sides, desserts and snacks. There is an additional bonus of 15 more recipes. I tried the Artichoke Bruschetta. It took almost no time to make and it was a great appetizer for a recent gathering. Quick and simple and good tasting is what I was looking for and this worked out great.I also tried the Speedy Turkey Chili for a family dinner. My family enjoyed the chili quite a bit and where interested in what else is in the recipe book to try. Although I am not aware of any gluten-intolerance in my family this book has opened my eyes to a different and better way to monitor and support my families food intake.I will be reading more on gluten and try to understand the pros and cons better. If you have an interest in looking for a healthier, simpler way to eat delicious food I would highly recommend this book.

I have a son who has a severe sensitivity to gluten so I am always looking for new recipe ideas as I seem to always prepare the same recipes over and over. I am glad I found this book because it is a good one and I found several recipes ideas.The author starts by presenting her 16 tips to improve your health and explain what is the number 1 reason why Americans are sick and obese. It all has to do with eating too much processed food saturated with gluten. Then there are 50 gluten-free recipes divided between appetizers, breads, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, sides snacks and desserts. The recipes are well laid-out and the instructions are clear and concise making it easy to prepare. I already tried 2 recipes: the Crispy Chicken Paillard Divan, and the Flourless Peanut butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. Both were amazing and well liked around our table. There is also 15 bonus recipes, that was a welcomed surprise. Overall, the cookbook is well worth buying. You will certainly find recipes that will suit your taste.

But I’m very particular with the food I consume. The recipes shared look really pleasing. However, I would have been more satisfied if there was more detailed discussion on the said diet before the recipes were given. If you’d want to lose weight successfully I suggest you try the Atkins diet (low carb diet). I’m saying this based from experience. I really appreciate the low carb checklist included.

A couple of them surprised me because the pictures did not do them justice. There are a few typos and missed items like temperatures here and there, but none that a decent cook can't figure out. This cookbook is well worth the investment, especially if you are looking for some new ways to eat primally.

The idea behind flexible dieting is that you want to consume food to match your macro nutrient profile as opposed to just counting calories. So, you want to consume X number of fat, carbs and protein in a day as opposed to 2000 calories. The advantage of this approach is that it allows you to be flexibility in what you eat. Might just try this out By Anton Phillips I first heard of flexible dieting from a friend, he told me somethings about this type of diet and recommended this book for me a few days ago. Checking out the book, the diet looks really great. Its my first time coming across a diet that lets you choose to some extent what you want to eat. There is lesser possibility, if there is any at all, that one would get a craving after stopping this diet type.This diet from what I gather in this book gives you such great options to eat somethings of your choice and still shed some weight. When you understand the basis of a concept, you are easily able to adopt it and use it to your advantage. This book contains a lot of information that gives you the opportunity to understand what the diet is about, thereby giving you the opportunity to use it to your advantage and eat a variety of food knowing that it will not affect your diet.

By reading this book I have learned about the flexible diet plan. Inside of this book I have found some proven steps and strategies on how to effectively utilize the method of flexible dieting to achieve my desire body composition goals. Though inside of this book I have found some errors, but I am glad to read this book.My body condition was not well and by bally fat was increasing day by day. I was losing my strength also and I felt lots of trouble in my work. Las week one of my friends suggested about this book. By reading this book I am pleased because inside of this book, I have found two effective strategies, one is for losing weight and another is for making strong body. Flexible dieting is a fabulous way to lose weight. Everything guidelines of this book are well organized and easy to understand. By following the guidelines of this book within a week I am feeling better. If you want to lose your weight quickly and want to make a strong mussel then you can try to follow this book’s guideline. This book motivated me I appreciate author honest approach.

It's a Smo World After All By Jonesy Nice quirky fairy tale-type story about some tiny people called "Smos" who go to the city of men to find out why their King is being denigrated. Get it yet? You will.The story is funny and clever, and has an overall good-spirited nature. I'd say it is suitable for children, though perhaps a bit too long for the young ones.
