About the Author Dr. Brianne Grogan, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy originally from Portland, Oregon. Inspired by her own pregnancy and postpartum struggles, Brianne chose to specialize in the field of women’s health physical therapy with an emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor disorders. In 2009 Brianne left the traditional role as a clinician and started her own fitness revolution, FemFusion Fitness. She does not believe in “one size fits all” diet and exercise plans, but stands by her motto: for vibrant health, eat clean, and move every day. Today, Brianne enjoys a fulfilling career as a certified women's health and nutrition coach, author, FemFusion group fitness instructor, and her most important (and soul-satisfying) roles of all: wife and mother.

This is one of the few books I put down and haven't bothered to pick back up. I wanted to like it - I like her videos and have followed her for a while. To be honest, I thought I was getting the sample and ended up purchasing the whole book. Then when I started reading it, I just couldn't stay with it. Some of her stuff is good - nutrition, help for diastasis recti, etc. But the New Age 'womb power' exercise (about letting your "masculine and feminine energy flow.... depleting their essence... flows of pranic energy") took it from the desired realm of science to mumbo-jumbo for me, and that was early in the book. Further reading included refernces to vaginal steaming (!) as recommended for 'cleaning' your vagina, using oils for lubrications (hello, condoms, etc will be destroyed) and I just had to quit. On the plus side, there was good information about focusing on sleep for good health and sleep hygeine. But the junk early on, when I was hoping for a science-based book to give to my almost-grown nieces, just kept me from finishing it, and certainly from being willing to buy copies for my family.

Dr Grogan intertwines valuable information on pelvic health, complemented with movement with her own journey through the tricky world of womanhood. As a female health professional, I am already recommending this wonderful book to my clients and will invest in my own paper copy in addition to my e-copy....it is that good. Providing this vital information in such an easy-to-read and understand format allows women to uncover the mystery, and understand the amazingness of their own bodies, in the privacy and comfort in their own homes. Thoroughly recommend.

By Jessica In a perfect world, I would be able to afford to buy a thousand copies of this book... so that I could hand out this precious information to every woman I know and love, and a few strangers on the street as well! I think that the world would be a better place if every single woman had a copy of this book in her hands. As a self-help-book-junkie, you can trust me when I say Lady Bits has been one of the most influential books I've read in the past five years. The biggest thing that has stuck with me is Dr. Grogan's message to really understand and accept your female body in all its glory. She explains things that we've all wondered about but been embarrassed to ask... She makes you laugh and reminds you that you are totally normal and absolutely beautiful. She reminded me to reclaim my spark for me, not for anyone else's benefit. I know that I hold my head higher since digesting the message of this book. And I know that it will be a constant reference book on my shelf, especially as I have the privilege and responsibility of helping my two little girls navigate the path to womanhood. This book is a gem, so buy two copies today - one for you and one for a friend or family member. You won't be disappointed!
