Emotionally Accurate By Amazon Customer Jordan's Confession by Charmaine Galloway is a sad but inspiring story about a young girl coping with a devastating loss of her befriend and a being violated by someone close to her.All this young girl wanted to do was live life worry free. Instead, she was dealing with situations she didn't know how to deal with. Jordan was heartbroken when her bestie, Heaven committed suicide. She didn't know what made her friend take her own life. She also blamed herself for her death. I didn't read Heaven's Cry which is the first book in this series. I was able to read and follow this book, Part 2, without any unanswered questions. Jordan didn't know how to cope with Heave's death. Keeping it bottled in didn't make it any better.Already dealing with enough, Jordan was violated in an awful way at the age of 15. She was raped by her mother's live-in boyfriend Darnell, and also her little brother's father. Now dealing with even more hurt and pain she didn't know what to do. Should she tell? Would he mother believe her? Would people look at her differently? She started to blame herself. She had millions of thoughts racing through her mind. Jordan felt ashamed and confused. Thinking, did she deserve what happened? Was she being punished? Was this her fault? While away at a Christian camp with her friend Teresa, Jordan found spiritual guidance. She found the courage to speak up and tell the secret that was eating her up inside. Her mother was notified as well as law enforcement. Her mother supported her and was able to get counseling and Darnell was eventually prosecuted. One of Jordan's main fears was that nobody would believe her. As a reader, it was comforting that her mother believed her. It took a lot of courage to speak out against an abuser. There are a lot of young women and men that have been sexually abused. Many never speak out, so I thank the author for the helpful yet informative information at the end of the book. Hopefully, this book lands in the hands of those in need.As an adult, I personally want to tell all the "Jordan's" out there, that there is help available. You're not alone and don't be afraid to speak up. I am Jordan Colbert so this story touched home for me and again I admire the main character's courage because I wasn't that courageous to speak out.

By Arlena Title: Jordan's Confessions: A Short Story....Book 2Author: Charmaine GallowayPublisher: Charming Gal PublicationsReviewed By: Arlena DeanRating: FiveReview:"Jordan's Confessions: A Short Story"...Book 2 by Charmaine GallowayWhat I enjoyed from this novel.....This was a good short story that this author gives the reader ...of a young girl that has been hurt more than one way...a friend's death[Heaven] and from then from her mother's boyfriend [Darnell]. I really enjoyed how this author was able to give the reader a complete story of how this teen, Jordan was put into certain situations and yes the question is will she be able to make it through the trials that had been set before her. I really liked how this author brings out the situations to issues that this young teen had to faced as well as so many others... showing that there is someone out there to help and listen to you even when it looks so very dark. Why did Jordan feel like she couldn't tell her secret to her Mom? I don't want to tell the story other than say you will have to pick up this novel to see for yourself how well it is written. You will not be disappointed with this good read of a teenager in trouble and needing help. Thank you to the author for another good 'Book 2' read.

Must Read By Amazon Customer While trying to cope with the lost of her friend Heaven and the role she played Jordan had to deal with the effects of her mother's boyfriend Darnell raping her. When he got back into a relationship with her mother that was extremely hard for her because she was scared to tell anyone what he did to her. Thankful she attended a retreat with a friend that changed her life and now Darnell was put in jail for his crime. Charmaine did an amazing job with Jordan's Confessions by touching on the topic of sexual abuse and how it can change your life. One of the most important things shown is this book is that you can't hold this in because it will start to destroy you. Find someone that you can trust and tell them what happen. And remember you did not hing wrong and it was not your fault.LaToya Murchison Author of Poetic Expressions
