If you are looking to do more interval training or just starting out, then this book is very useful. I found this book very helpful and easy to follow. I have been doing interval training for a while but I am always on the hunt to find more ways to take my exercise to the next level. There are lots and lots of exercises featured in this book. So you are getting your money's worth. Don't worry if you are just beginning with interval training as this book will take you step by step with pictures on how to do the exercise (correctly). There is even a work out guide to follow so that after you have mastered the novice moves you can keep progressing with the advanced moves. You will refer to this book over and over again until you have become a master and then you might want to consider gifting it to a friend or purchase them a copy.

Why? Simply put, it's got a ton of really fun exercises in it. And I especially like that they're not a bunch of weight lifting (as in bars and bells) exercises but rather things like sand bags, ropes, bands, balls and even an event I dearly love, boxing. And, as the title implies, it shows you how to push yourself to the next level, the maximum. The fact this is high intensity training makes it even more exciting because that's where the biggest fat burn and the most power comes from. Power and speed are things a lot of folks don't train for. But, these exercises gives you a major hit with strength, power and speed. It gives you a jolt of aerobics and strength, lots of muscle and a whole lot of fun. But they're not easy workouts. You'll learn lots of great exercises before putting them together in your own program. For example, on page 179 you'll discover how to do the sandbag jerk. It gives you the intended uses, prerequisites, steps and key points. And, of course, great black and white photos that show you the right way to stand and hold the bag at the beginning and end of the move.Included are exercises using sprints, medicine balls, heavy ropes, kettlebells, sandbags, bodyweight exercises, and suspension training plus more. There are a total of 147 exercises plus ready-to----use programs for power, strength, endurance, quickness, agility, tactical training, and total-body conditioning. This is truly a unique book and you won't go wrong by getting your own copy and beginning your own high intensity, functional training for real power and strength and a whole lot of fat burning. The exercises that interest you are easy to find in the front of the exercise finder of this well-organized book. So, you can quickly go to them.No matter what you're training for - strength, power, endurance, speed or total body conditioning, you'll get it in this book. It's a breath of fresh air from other fitness books.Highly recommended.- Susanna K HutchesonHealth & Fitness Researcher, Reviewer
