They are great amazing people, and this is a good stepping stone to learning and opening the door to self improvement. I think the biggest thing a person can do to be a better friend to INFJ, is to learn to be a better person. Skills like listening and empathy are a great step. This book help makes you aware of the skills that one needs to help support INFJ.

I came to this through Carl Jung, someone in whom I've been interested for a very long time.Recently, my interest in the Myers Briggs system was rekindled, and I found some very interesting information on the Internet. I found this author through her blog, specifically, with respect to the "INJF door-slam," where such a person permanently shuts out someone after being repeatedly hurt by them. This is something I've done regularly throughout my life, and, to see the phenomena described so well led me to want to find out more about the author. However, I found this book to be a major disappointment. Personality categories, such as Myers Briggs, are useful insofar as they remain broad classes or divisions of people regarded as having particular shared characteristics. In my view, the author extrapolates too much from the basic categories and veers into the anecdotal. In fact, I couldn't relate to most of the detailed experiences relayed in the book. Luckily, it wasn't very expensive.I found that perusing the Internet for information on the INFJ personality type to be much more useful.

INFJ was the first type I ever scored and though I've had my doubts, this book clears up any confusion. I am without a doubt an INFJ.Aside from a handful of typos, this book was very well-written and interesting. INFJs should definitely give it a read.
