I do like the book.... it has a lot of good tips in it, but I was actually hoping for a lot more pictures detailing how to do contouring and hiding things. I will keep it and maybe just supplement it with a few you-tube videos.

I also like the fact he list makeup selections and not just his own line. Although I must admit I am a fan of Ramy products. This is a great makeup tip book. Get it now.

Just not enough content to warrant purchasing (for me anyway) By Kathleen If you are a person who reads women's magazines, shops at Sephora or Ulta, reads beauty blogs, or watches YouTube videos regarding makeup, skin, and hair care you do not need to buy this book. There is nothing in this book that was new information for me. However, if you are brand new to makeup you might learn something from reading this. But honestly, even if you are completely new to makeup, I really think there are better resources, including books you can probably get at your local library, or tutorials online, to teach you how to feel great about yourself at any age. I ended up returning it because I couldn't justify the space on my book shelf. I know there are many good reviews for this book so take what I say in the context of where I fall in the spectrum of the topic. The author obviously is invested in his trade and I respect him for that. YMMV.
