I like the character Ricky and how he hate to eat almost everything. One of my cousin also shows same behavior and tries to ignore almost everything. When I was telling this story to my cousins they laughed a lot in the beginning and started to tease my little cousin Alisha but later they were happy and told that they will also eat everything and will never say no to anything. I was also surprised to hear that from them as kids normally don’t take stories that serious. I also like the food fairy and the events that took place in Ricky’s dream. Well the story is perfect for kids who hate to eat almost everything. Recommended for kids and parents too. This book really got a good story and lesson for everybody. Recommended.

This visually appealing picture book is about the Five year old Ricky, who is the pickiest eater around. All this changes when Ricky has a wonderful dream one night and gets a special visit from the Food Fairy, who teaches him that eating is really all about adventure. It has a good moral to the story and I think it might teach kids to try and eat a variety of things.

By Eduard P Kusumadjaja If your kids are very picky about food, and they just want to eat some specific food only, then telling them to read this book is a fantastic idea. It is a great book that was really well written by Emily McLeod. This book is really attractive and has a lot of cute looking pictures. But the great thing in this book is the important message that tell the kids to eat their food, and not to be picky about it. It's definitely a recommended kids book!
