Strategies to help you in your journey By Valerie Caraotta This book consists of three different short books aimed at helping one improve their self-esteem, helping to provide tips jumpstart your day, and helping one to persevere. In the first book Author Jessie Fuller speaks of not being afraid of change and letting go and starting over. He encourages readers to not allow negative emotions to rule or override their judgment. Additionally, he shares that positivity is one of the keys to happiness and complete fulfillment. Fuller believes that complimenting yourself every day when you wake up is vital. Other areas covered include eating a healthier diet and exercising, along with getting eight hours of sleep. Regarding friendship he shares the following "Friendship should enrich your life, not strip it of happiness and fulfillment. "By also getting out and meeting new people will help one' outlook, he shares.In the book Jump Start Your Day there are provided easy tips to get you up and out every morning. As you learn to start your day with a good routine, you will also learn how to organize your workspace, make a schedule, and how to deal with interruptions. Additionally, there are provided do's and don'ts for a more productive day.In the last book Practice Persistence, you will be encouraged to discover your passion and put it into clear in concrete terms, while addressing your challenges and strengths. Here is a warning he gives regarding persistence and organization: "Persistence when left unorganized, will only weaken its effects, which may prevent you from attaining your goal. " The author feels that only when you have belief in yourself and are fully comfortable with your identity that you're able to truly manifest assertiveness.Though there are three books in this volume they are short enough where this book can easily be read in one or two sittings. Personally, I did not consider the content to have been as informative as I would have hoped. A lot of the strategies and tips I have heard several times in various places. Each book was written almost in a short research paper- like fashion. For a teenager or young college student about to enter the workforce, this may reveal truths they have previously not heard of.Because the content did not reveal much new revelation to me, I give it three stars. The book was easy to read but I was surprised at the shortness of each of the books. The title and the cover looked very inviting but I suggest perhaps if there were more in-depth information that the reader would feel more fulfilled.

I find it difficult to follow a healthy routine. With the help of this box set I got more than what I was looking for. I am able plan ahead, be organized, start and maintain a routine. I have learnt how to encourage positivity and accept failure which is important for everyone. Each book in this box set has it own set of values. I believe that It brings a healthy change in our life style when it's practiced.
