By SavaFiend76 This book is the story of Tristian, who told a terrible lie in her youth that affected the lives of two young men; and her daughter Kristian, who questions who her father is and wonders what secrets her mother has been hiding all these years. This is such a good read! You can feel the characters' emotions coming through the page. The ending was so unexpected...a tearjerker, but also a tale of redemption. There are strong Christian undertones to this, but the author doesn't beat you over the head with it. I personally like stories that show faith in a down-to-earth, relatable way rather than a preachy way. All in all, a very good read!
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Awesome Book By Starr Pack Zaneta did an amazing job with this book. It was so realistic and I love how she had real emotions in this book. The characters in were amazing and I love the sensitivity of the situation Zaneta displayed in the book. I was really really shocked with the outcome but I love that the book screams LIFE. People lie and can spiral into a lot of negatives but it's what you do next that matters realizing that the situation effects you first hand but the outcome and your actions effect many. I love this book.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The Kristian Life By C. Towns "The Kristian Life" was the first book that I've read by Author Zaneta and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. By the end I was definitely in tears. This book definitely has a strong message behind it. It's not good to hold grudges. The author's note was beautifully written and my heart goes out to Zaneta. Looking forward to reading more of this author's work.
