Though heard about this meditation as a stress reliever but then I still ignore the whole thing and focus myself with my daily task until such time I didn't feel better. It was a friend of mine who suggested that I should let myself be free from stress through meditation. As a starter, this book has helped me go through the process. I admit that it's really hard to get serious and be involved but somehow this will guide me all through out the way.I've learned here that doing meditation does not require expensive things in order to gain it. The only requirement is a quite place wherein you can reflect on something about yourself. It was suggested here that yoga is good to adapt because you will learn how to become fit as well as develop some meditation practices. By doing this, it will help us grow both personal and spiritual aspect in life.

This book helps the reader learn about some of the benefits of meditation and also how to use this tool to enhance your life and your being. I liked how the author gave tips to help quiet your mind such as practicing everyday, starting with breathing exercises, experimenting with different positions and styles, picking a specific spot to meditate and also reading some more books on meditation. The book also covers the basics of what meditation is and also some traditional techniques and non-traditional techniques. Good introduction for beginners who are interested in learning more about meditation.
