She is a stay at home Mom and home schools her kids ,gardens and loves to cook. Just glanced through her newest book. Easy as Pie last night . The recipes are laid out in organized and simple to read style. Almost all the ingredients I would have on hand or in the freezer. The pictures are beautiful as well. Will be making some pies this week end and over the coming holidays .....the hard part is which to make first ! This is a MUST HAVE book for anyone who enjoys simple home style cooking for their family. Also recommend her dandelion cookbook .... Unbelievable

I love the opening of the book that gives easy By Amazon Customer I love the opening of the book that gives easy, step-by-step, clear directions for different kinds of crusts. I haven't tried one of the recipes yet, but I sure plan to! I like how easy this was to read and, as stated by other reviewers, that the ingredients are just normal pantry items. I have read a lot of things from Kristina's blog, and I think she always explains things well and has a nice flow to her writing style. -Staci

The best part is that there are no fancy ingredients that you have to go to 5 stores to try to find! It's stuff that you probably already have. I will be using several of these recipes for the holidays. Can't wait to start making some pies!
