1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Get Elmo's Potty Look and Find instead By Dave Don't buy. So people said the storyline wasn't great, but I figured that would be fine. Well, not only that, there's just not much to look at. I really like Elmo's FIrst Look and Find Potty book instead, it has TONS of colorful pictures with loads of detail (get it used on Amazon, it's a sturdy board book). So while we're camped out on the potty, we have lots of things to talk about (look at the ball, find the circle, find the horse, how many elephants can you find) and it gives suggestions. Anyway, the Let's Go Potty Book doesn't hold my 2-year-old's attention for very long, the pull tabs are pretty boring (toilet paper rolling down and an arm with a step stool) and she can hardly turn the wheel for the swirling toilet water.

I like the fact that the pages are not all pull-tabs By JDallas I like the fact that the pages are not all pull-tabs, but the story line is less than desirable. Good product if you want your child to look at the pictures and interact with the pages, but the story could be better written.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Just ok By Leann We got this for my daughter a few months ago when she was 20 months old and just starting to potty train. She is fully trained now and still likes to read this book because it is about Elmo (she knows Elmo from occasionally watching Sesame Street), but I think this book is only ok.For one thing, the pull tabs are hard for her to pull. They have to be aligned just so, and she often gets frustrated with them. There are two pages with wheels so that you can make the toilet appear as if the water is flushing, and you can make water from the faucet move while Elmo washes his hands. She really likes the concept -- particularly she likes that Elmo has bubbles on his hands when he is washing them -- but the part where you turn the wheels is so narrow that it is really hard for her to move it.At least one other person has mentioned the boring story line. I appreciate that it starts out with Elmo needing to stop playing to go potty, but it kind of glosses over what actually happens when you sit on a potty, something I think is important for potty training books. Mu daughter really enjoys the more realistic (i.e., references to sitting on the potty to try and pee and poop) book, My Big Girl Potty. She seems to like the pictures in that one better, too.
