Chantaielle to outsiders seems like a very interesting woman what a good head on her shoulders, but that's far from the truth. She's very selfish, and manipulative. She turns on Mary Kay, after Mary Kay mapped out a perfect plan where all of them could succeed. Things turn down hill after that. The only Chantaielle can cope is getting that monkey off her back. Did I forget to mention she has a two year old son who she leaves with her younger cousin Contina who's now living with her. When a mapped out plan goes wrong, and Rolex and his crew gets involved. Someone gets kidnapped but will Chantaielle come through or will she let greed stop her from helping her cousin?This a great read, i'll recommend to anyone.

By Erica Bendolph This book starts off with a bang and you almost feel sorry for Shantanelle, but you eventually see right through all her bullsh#%!! Her past is revealed and still you almost feel sorry for ber, but just wait, her true side will always shine through... Rolex is scary and sexy all wrapped in one and suprisingly a true gentelman... Corrie thought she was grown until her mom called her bluff, but she ended up calling the wrong cousin to help her.... Red did a great job with character development, suspenseful plot, the entire book kept me on my toes, thinking what will happen next... can't wait for part 2, so many unanswered plots just waiting to be plucked!!!!

Read this book in 2 days and looking forward to part 2. The plot is exciting and keeps you engrossed. The characters are easy to follow and relatable. No grammatical errors which made reading a great experience. The story was well written and evenly paced. Each book that Redd is writing is getting better and better. She understands what a reader wants to read. Overall great book - you won't be disappointed.
