About the Author Jacquelyn Merrill Ruiz was raised in New England, forged in Los Angeles, and embraced by Cincinnati. She's written all manner of genres for years, but it was her poetry that earned her Master of Professional Writing at University of Southern California. But throughout them all there's a voice that speaks like none other. It's a voice that can simultaneously exist within the moment and without, analyzing it as an intimate participant and a curious onlooker who just happened to stick her head in the room to see what was going on.This voice can expand a single, tiny moment into a universe-sized lifetime, complete with all the nuances and observations one would ordinarily overlook in the blink of an eye. This voice can condense a lifetime into a mere moment that soon passes by.This voice has led a life no more or less unique than the lives of the rest of us, but this voice is unique in its ability to take anything and make it not only a story, but a story worth being told.
