I have a vintage copy of this, and had ordered the reprint as a gift for someone because the old ones can be a little dusty or worn. However, I ended up returning it because a few of my favorite charts were totally illegible.

Experimental Cookery From the Chemical and Physical Standpoint 2nd Ed Hardcover Review By Chuck R About a year ago I was searching the internet for different cooking books. I happened to stumble on Belle Lowe's Experimental Cookery Book as an eBook version. I had liked it so much I was hoping to find it on the internet. My search seemed fruitless. The eBook version depicted text, charts,graphs, formulas, pictures, table of contents, and a big index. This last August I found Belle Lowe's Experimental Cookery Book on Amazon.com. I was so excited that they had it, and that it was a new version, even though it was a paperback. After receiving the book I was markedly disappointed with the book. It had no ( table of contents, index, tables, charts, formulas, graphs,pictures). I immediately shipped the book back to Amazon.com, after they emailed me a shipping label. I found a few second hand-2nd Edition hardcover 1937 version. I ordered my book through Amazon.com from the seller "youzdbooks" The book was rated "Used-Good". I am thoroughly satisfied As stated the Spine of the book is tight, Ex-libris stamp on the inside cover. The pages are solid and crisp with a slight tan with some occasional easily erasable pencil underlings. The Red covers are solid straight and clean showing minot shelf ware. This book has all of the text, charts, graphs, formulas, pictures, table of contents and index. I find this book a jewel.Would definitely buy from this seller again!
