A hanging chad...and a cubic zirconia is more like it By zoey I had to skim the book since the story was really long and drawn and I did not see any connection with the boring couple.spoiler ************************************************************************************************************************I did not understand why the hero cheated on the heroine. There did not seem to be any emotional or flimsy (or any sort) justification to the cheating. The hero just did it and then the story continued along with no consequences or memory of the incident. If the cheating was suppose to provide a wedge in the relationship or angst in the story, then it did not serve its purpose. Its only purpose was a hanging chad. Unfortunately the chad was the most interesting part of this book.

Not to mention a BIG ELEMENT of the story was introduced but NEVER discovered or talked about! I don't understand how you introduce infidelity and then...NOTHING! Just leave it hanging but produce a happily ever after. I just did not enjoy this one.

Unrealistic timeline ruined a decent enough storyline By Cheyenne Ross okay so they were supposed to carry on the ruse of a marriage for a month right? I can live with that. I can even live with them falling for each other in that short space of time, but the pregnancy? Sure it could happen, but most women don't even notice something might be up till they're maybe six weeks along, and I have five, I'm a pro at this now. I'm hard pressed to believe that she conceives, starts feeling nauseous, and finds out she's pregnant all before the four weeks are up.That would make the time of conception around the elevator and coffee incident for any of this to make sense. Too soon. Too soon.
