Black and Shy are back together again and on the trail of a murderer. Shy is heartbroken when she finds that her half-sister, Porsche Sims, has been found dead, the apparent victim of a lethal combination of heroin and cocaine. Meanwhile, Nick has broken up with Rain because she still insists there’s something going on between him and Wanda. Since the break up, Rain has been drinking more than she should and as a consequence, she has become very easily agitated and even quicker to pull her gun and use it. When Chris Toney tells Rain about a place that they can rob and come away with big money, Rain is all ears. The job is successful. But soon Rain and her Purple Gang find themselves outnumbered and outgunned. Rain knows that she is in over her head and turns to Black and Bobby to get her out of it.

I feel like I am a part of this group of friends, like if Mike told me to go handle something I could do it like Monica. That is seriously how much I am into this Mike Black series. And like with any group of friends (books) you have you ups and downs, your this was a good read to this was a great read. But this book here will make you absolutely fall even more in love with the series. It will bring up all those feelings you had when you picked up and read the very first book Is It A Crime. Roy did his thang with this one. I loved it 100%. Great job.

I think the best part is that Shy is back! If you don't know who she is you need to get caught on the life of Mike Black :-) Anymore and I will be giving it all away
