About the Author Ann began writing fifteen years ago and writes every day now. In addition to poetry, she writes short stories and commentaries. Currently she is working on a novel and a children’s book. A widow who lives in southern California, she often writes about her love affair of the ocean and the state. Ann has had careers in merchandising, travel and interior design. Ann loves music and theatre and is a supporter of the arts. Having had six children she is now grandmother to seventeen and great grandmother to six. Ann describes herself as a curious soul. She would like to be remembered for being ageless and having a zest for life.

The spectrum of poems is wide and so was my reaction to them. I smiled and laughed through some and cried through others. Like powerful song lyrics, some lines really affected me and stuck with me long after I closed the book. I shared this book with my Book Club and they overwhelmingly loved it and went on to purchase copies themselves. For all of you that didn't think you liked poetry - give this book a shot. It will forever change your perception!

By golfingal72 I love this poetry and I love reading it aloud to my friends and family. I recommend this book to anyone who has been missing modern poetry. The author's wisdom and sense of humor about current events and life challenges is marvelous. What a breath of fresh air and honest truth. These poems just roll off your tongue with the way they are written.
