There are not many author's that get me in my feelings over their book, but Miss Candice has now been added to that list. This book had me so emotionally attached I had to go driving to regroup to type this review. I feel she is headed for a successful writing career with books of this caliber. The storyline picks right up from book one and takes you on a thrilling ride until the end that leaves you speechless. Once again, I saw limited if any errors (the editor has to be wonderful).Janessa (Queen Trifling)... Nothing has changed about her since book one; she has gotten worse. She is what a jealous female looks like for sure. However, she is so gullible and self-centered she don't realize that words mean nothing if someone is showing you how they are. Many people think that way in real life that they so much better that certain things happening to them are beneath them oh how foolish they end up looking...Lenox (Mr. Psychotic)... Still hasn't learned the blame game never works. Facades don't work to well either for it only takes one thing to set him off and all progress out the window. At times, he got a little reckless and careless that he may have landed himself in a place that he can't easily get out of this time. Honestly, he needs to go I am so over him and his arrogance like he is invincible.Kingston (Mr. Protector)... He is not just about words but shows through actions. He showed that he was not someone to toy with in any way. If you cross him, he shows he is capable of having it taken care of ASAP. It is always the quiet / subtle ones who can turn into your worst nightmare if you cross them. I sure hope he ends up handling Lenox in some fashion... that would make me like him even more.Paris (Ms. Alky)... I need her to get it together completely. She has become the Alky (alcoholic), and it's only going to cause more damage. I need her to realize and stick to finding her self-worth. The drama she has dealt with she should have walked away from a long time ago. There are many Paris' in the world who hold on to things we know we should have been let go. Whether it was out of fear or convenience as the reason, there comes a point where enough is enough or it could be too late. Will she stick to leaving and get the divorce or fall back in the trap despite all that she finds out?I loved this book and now anxious for part three. I know that part three is going to be more playing on my emotions, which I know now I can't prepare in advance. Based on the fact that Authoress Miss Candice's books can affect my feelings she has sealed herself a place on my list of favorite authors!

I mean I am mad at Paris because she just couldn't seem to get it together and leave Lenox alone... She was just so weak all tge way around... This man did not even have the audacity to pay the money for her return when she was kidnapped and tortured for 2 weeks all because of him not wanting to pay big Mo 2 million... He just left her to them, he didn't care... His money was more important than her... Luckily they didn't kill her... For that reason alone she should have left him... Although she has so many other reasons why she should leave him... Then we Have her best friend Janessa she is one of the worst kind of friends.. A jealous one... Wishing harm will come her way so she can have what she has... Janessa thinks that he won't treat her the way he did Paris... Yeah Right... let's see how that works for seeing that he says he loves Paris so much and look how bad he does her..He does not love Janessa should why would he treat her better than someone he loves... Then we have Kingston. .. I think he is a good guy but sometimes I have my doubts about him...Still not sure... I believe as time went on he started really feeling Paris... Not sure where they will end up... Not I'm on the edge of my seat with this cliff hanger. I really have to read book 3...

It pulls you into each character and makes you feel as if you really know them and makes you feel some type of way about each one. This author is truly amazing at writing stories and keeping the reader wanting more...wishing the books were 100 chapter novels. I can't wait til part 3 drop. Also the author is amazing at not making die hard fans like myself wait forever for the next book to drop and although they come out quick it NEVER takes away from the amazing content of the story, meaning it's never lacking anything, it isn't rushed and the editing is 100% on point! Keep up the great work Miss Candice.
