It's a hot mess By Amazon Customer If you happened to read the first book; you'll understand why i say this book is very disappointing.This book opens with Lovelys' husband dead. How did he die?? Don't know. He died at the ripe old age of 23, she mourned him for two years which would make her 22 ...but according to the writer she is 28. Where oh where did the six years go.Also, Ria now has two kids by two different babies daddies. Lemen who i thought was given the boot a long time ago and Shady. No one ever explains how she and Lemen get back together or why she would be so stupid as to do do. Also,The age time line for her and her children do not add up.Bali, the cousin with an open door policy seems to have been forgiven. Why? Don't know. What happened between her and Marcus the so called love of her life and who she betrayed her family for? The age time line for her off spring does not add up at all.As a matter of fact; none of the age time lines add up.I could keep going and going but i am not going to.

Horrible grammar, moves between first and third person often, uses terms like "congrads" and other poor word usage. Not edited at all as far as I can tell. Some of the storyline was downright laughable - she wins $5 million on a scratcher, some other amount on a scratcher at one time; then she wins $520 million on another scratcher and $2 million at the same time - ha! Finally, there are just basic errors that are highly illogical if not impossible. Bear is 35, but has a son who is in his last year of medical school? That's possible if he fathered the boy when he was 8 or 9! Same for Bali who is 30 with an 18-year old (maybe she was really fast though). Towards the end I started skipping through the sex scenes. I like erotica, but is there such a thing as TOO much? Each of these guys was hung and had the ability to ejaculate on command, time after time with no obvious recovery time. Just unreal. I won't be reading the sequel.
