By MrsB I should have know better...the first clue that there was going to be a problem was the fact that the title is misspelled. In any event, the editing in this book was absolutely horrendous. I became so frustrated I had to stop reading it. I went to her page to check the reviews of her other books and the theme is the same, "poor editing". Ms. Hunt please invest in an editor, it would make a world of difference!

I have read most of the books by EA Hunt and will continue to buy them BUT I wish that she would get someone to edit them. I would be more than happy to have her use me for ARC!!! Hint, hint. The story was enjoyable and as with most of her stories has a message. But it takes away when you have to go back to correct a word or take out a phrase that is repeated twice.Eric and Elsie are alike in so many ways in having to deal with families that don't have their best interests at heart. Both are upstanding people doing the best they can with the choices that they have made in life. They "meet" through Elsie's daughter and her school project and form a relationship without meeting face to face for six months. Eric thinks of them as his and when he arrives in their home town wastes no time in claiming then and the new baby that Elsie gives birth to. He is not forthcoming with everything that happened before he met her but it's resolved before another incident happens. There is a HEA.

Who gets upset over a person they have really never seen to the point that they put themselves and their baby at risk--he was a soldier over in a war zone. They moved too fast , imo. Then after a difficult birth, he takes the family on a road trip to visit his family. I found the guy 's character to be very weak and he was suppose to be smart and tough, not a pushover. He allowed his druggie sister and her boyfriend stay in the house, eat the food without asking, insult the wife and then left them there--of course they were going to rob them. He or she could have put them up in a motel. All I could think was this has to be the most naive couple ever.
