Champion For the longest time I thought that I did everything right and could not figure out where the problem was. The author makes some very revealing points about the realities of codependency that shed a new light on my biggest frustration. I now see the illogical behavior for what it was rather than having to obsessively try to figure out the obvious. If you are feelings used and have trouble communicating with your partner, you are likely codependent and this book will give you a new insight on how to approach your communication (and much more)!!

It opens your eyes and gives insight into your own thinking and how you might be creating the situations yourself. After it gets you thinking, it tells you things to do to get a different perspective and ideas about what you could do to break the negative pattern of codependency and have a better relationship! Either with the same person or someone else! Good advice and not just a soul searching pity party. The author understands the nature of codependency and what creates it.
