The book describes in humorous detail her introduction into American culture(her favorite stores to shop are Goodwill and Salvat By gary p. thomas The book "Hidden Flowers" is a memorable and powerful novel about sex trafficking.The story is centered around the main character, Matika and follows her as she and her family escape from Uganda to the U.S.The book describes in humorous detail her introduction into American culture(her favorite stores to shop are Goodwill and Salvation Army and the Salvation Army was the only army she wanted to be part of). The book gradually builds toward the topic of sex trafficking and goes into graphic detail with regard to the deceit, cunning and intimidation involved in trafficking in sex.Overall the book is effective in part because of its sensational and appalling subject matter, it's well-defined concept and it's clear and convincing . language . As such, it stands as a triumph in bringing to the World a story so often ignored.

She is one of my favorite writers and when I read her books, I'm glued to the chair as the quality of her writing is so excellent. I find her new novel, Hidden Flowers, exciting, engaging and filled with plenty of twists. I love her character, Makita. She is very believable and the story line is quite intriguing. I would recommend her books to anyone who likes an exciting and unpredictable plot. I don't usually read women authors, but Latrice has captured my imagination by the suspense and intrigue of her plots. Hidden Flowers is an excellent and I would recommend it to both men and women.

I loved this moving By Faye Thompson I loved this moving, thought provoking, yet humorous fictional drama about a very real problem that faces humanity all over the world on a daily basis. I couldn't put it down. I was captivated throughout! A must read! Can't wait for the next one.
