The Love I Lost By Edwina Putney This is the second book by Aja that I have read, and as with Unexpected, I was hooked from the beginning and did not want to put down I Am Yours. With Noah and Amara, the author has created two very believable characters who find love with each other, a love like no other. Noah is a smart, successful businessman, who develops his technology venture from little or nothing to a success; and who loves Amara with all his heart. But in Amara, Aja flips the script and creates a woman who is a success in her career but afraid to love. Because of her parents, she has a fear of commitment and is afraid to completely give her heart to Noah. As a result, she runs from him, and settles for a safe relationship with a co-worker. Most job romances lead to drama and Amara's with Keith is no exception, especially when Amara contracts Noah's company to help her complete a project. The triangle provides just the right amount of drama to be the conflict required for all good romance novels. I love Noah because he exhibited so many of the qualities expressed in I Corinthians 13:4-13, I was happy that his dad had a heart-to-heart talk that gave him a renewed purpose. It was also important that Amara found a way to deal with her demons, which enabled her to see what she had lost. But is it too late for love with Noah again? I recommend I Am Yours for those who enjoy mature romance. A few grammar errors, but nothing to detract from a great read.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Absolutely loved the storyline and so well written. By Dorothea Creamer Author Aja knows how to capture your attention and keep you want more. The characters are well written and you would think that it would be the guy which is Noah that would be running away from love but it is Amara that have all the problems with trusting Noah because of her issues with her father. The author bought out all kinds of emotions with the way Amara kept hurting Noah and herself because she was to afraid to love because of her not wanting to end up like her mother but she had know problem with the steamy sex life that she and Noah shared. The author also shows how by running from love that you can involve other people in your life that can cause them hurt, and they will want to hurt you when you reject them. I love the first novel that author Aja written with author Roy Glenn called Unexpected that was a five star rating also. Author Aja has become one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to see what her next release will be. I recommend this book and also Unexpected you will enjoy both with no regrets.

Modern Love Story Like No Other - You Don't Know Passion Like My Passion By Londra Graham It's funny sometimes how characters from a book can draw you into so many parallels within your life. This book started out as just entertainment for me but as I drove deeper into it, I realized this was a complicated love story. I soon started reflecting back on my past relationships and the simple complexities of Love. At some point in my life my actions have been both the main characters, Noah and Amara. Aja brilliantly quilted a beautifully ugly and complicated love story that will have your heart racing with passion and longing for Love Ever After.
