About the Author A.D. is a former elementary teacher born and raised in Chicago. Although she wrote short stories much of her childhood, she did not unlock and cultivate her passion as a writer until she became a writing teacher for middle school students. The more she had to create sample writings for her students, the more she realized her passion and ability to tell stories in the written form. She decided to hone her craft as a writer by completing her Masters of Creative Writing via National University. She now pursues writing books when she's not busy being a flight attendant and a substitute teacher.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Pretty Good Read By CHE Loves to Read! (pronounced She) The book starts out focusing on Karen and Kyle who literally run into each other. They connect through their Love of running. Kyle is a professional basketball player who is looking to settle down. Karen is a successful broadcaster who is also looking to settle down, but due to past hurts, she avoids Men who work in certain professions and has her sights set on a certain type of Man. Well, guess what, Kyle works in one of those professions but he's not giving up without a fight.In the beginning I wish we would have gotten more dialogue between Kyle and Karen as they were getting to know each other.As luck would have it, something happens that makes Karen lose her Trust in Kyle. I understood why Karen felt the way she did about athletes but I was annoyed with her initially not giving Kyle a chance and then jumping to conclusions in other situations without letting Kyle explain.A big chunk of the book focuses on Karen and Kyle as they deal with Karen's unwillingness to let Kyle explain some things that occurred. It didn't help that there was some manipulation going on by one of the characters. I will admit Karen got on my nerves with how she handled the situation with Kyle throughout the book. Karen soon realizes that everything is not always what it seems in relationships, even when she tries to play it safe. There are secrets that someone is trying to keep hidden. The reader will find themself wondering what is up with a couple of the characters and what are they trying to hide.There is an interesting side story with Karens best friend Melanie and Kyle's friend Andrew as well and I found myself rooting for them, even though I could tell something was not quite right. They are a prominent part of the story line. The book definitely took a turn that I was not expecting, however it was a pretty good read.

You will have to keep up with this read because there is so much going on[secrets]! The story starts out with girl [Karen] bumping into a guy [Kyle] on a run and from there a friendship/relationship will start but will this last due to Kyle's past that has caught up with him.Then there is Dennis! Now, how does he play in all of this? As the story continues we will have two best friends of Karen and Kyle who will become lovers [Melody and Andrew]. But for them wow...what comes out will truly have you saying wow...for me I definitely didn't see that one coming for these two. Now, what did Melody's mom have to do with that situation? I know this review sound somewhat strange but I don't want to give too away to much other than saying you must pick this one novel "Catch Me If You Can" to see for your how well this author will give you a read that will keep you on pins and needles as you are reading through this well written story. I did have a problem with one of the main characters Karen...she really got on my last nerves quite a bit because of what had happened to her in the past, and now being with ..... but at the end she does redeem herself somewhat for me to understand her thought process. For the most part I found the characters very interesting, well developed, well portrayed and believable [well some] that will help deliver to the reader quite a unique romantic read. In the end will any of these main characters be left standing in this romance that goes alone so well with this title: "Catch Me If You Can?This novel was very well written and I would recommend it as a good read.
